Well...if you've been paying any attention to the weather, Hurricane Ivan is headed straight toward my boat. It appears that it will make landfall sometime Wednesday night/Thursday morning. I was down on the boat last weekend, and it's been tied up about as well as it can be...there's not much more that I can do at this point to help it. Most everybody at the marina has either tied up really well, or gone back into the bayou and anchored deep. I think that almost everybody is planning on fleeing north as soon as they get their boat secure.

I don't think there's much chance that my boat will make it out unscathed, but we can hope for the best. My insurance is up to date regardless. Anyway...hope everybody is able to stay safe!!
