Little Gasparilla Island, FL
July 15, 2004

Well...After making it back to Jan's on Monday, here I sit on Thursday wondering where the time has gone. In the last few days, I've been living the life, & eating better than I've eaten in a while. Fish. Fresh, fresh fish. Tom took a few of us fishing on Tuesday and we caught a load of great grouper, then had it for dinner. Wednesday brought more fish, and a great snorkeling trip.

Unfortunately, today I feel the need to press on, despite the unbelievable urge to camp out here for another week or so. Weather permitting, I'll make the short hop to Venice today, and then jump into the gulf tomorrow and head for Clearwater. I'll probably get some sleep and some fuel in Clearwater and head back out into the gulf en route to either Carabelle or Panama City (depending on conditions). So...if everything goes as planned, I'll be back to Bear Point Marina in a week or two. I guess then I'll have to get back to the real world again. Eh...we'll see.

I obviously haven't been doing a great job posting my journal entries in the last week or two, but don't fret...I'm keeping up with it in a notebook and will give the website a major update when I get back home. Won't be long.
