Unbelievable!

This is getting ridiculous, isn't it? I feel that I've treated ya'll unfairly, yet there isn't much I can do about it just yet! I promise! My computer is still in the shop. I've got a good bit to unload on you as soon as I get it back, though.

Updated estimated departure: Tuesday, June 1st.
Explaination...I had hoped to leave this Thursday, however after doing some planning, I realized that that put me in the middle of Destin on Memorial Day Weekend. If you've ever been anywhere near a large body of water on Memorial Day Weekend, you know that it's the largest congregation of people I like to call "boat stupid." You know the type...they are typically smart people, have good jobs, well respected...etc. But as soon as they get anywhere near the water, they become idiots. I've seen it a hundred times...they bring the boat or wave runner down, put it in the water and take off. Before you know it, they're flagging you down because they don't have a clue where they are. Do they really expect me to be able to help them when all they know is that they started out at "the boat ramp near some resturant"? Um, dude...there are only 52 ramps around here...oh, and 40 of them are probably near a resturant.

He's the same one who enters a marina at full speed, waking all the other boats, slamming them into the pilings, and then tries to stop on a dime. Man, you're on a boat...on the water. I don't care what type of brakes you thought you had, but you just hit the dock really hard!

Ok...enough of my ranting about the "boat stupid"...let's get back to my scheduling. I ordered a solar panel that was supposed to come in yesterday. It's arrival yesterday would have given me plenty of time to install it and the autopilot I just got by Thursday. However, the panel came in last Friday. Good, right? Nah...UPS threw it around and tore the whole panel up, so I had to refuse it. Luckily, I called the guy at e-Marine where I ordered it and he's got me another one coming, no problems. They've been great to work with, even though I don't have my panel yet. If you ever need anything like that, I would highly recommend speaking with Joe at e-Marine Inc. out of Ft. Lauderdale.

Alright, so I should be heading out next Tuesday. I'll talk more about that soon. I'll hopefully be getting my computer back in the next day or two, and I'll holler at ya'll then. Sorry!
